Demonstrating: The versatility of id8’s prototyping capabilities beyond the web

Dilemma: In its effort to globally implement a handheld barcode scanner, our client needed to get the whole world onboard. Company leadership sought not only to avoid the expense of constructing a speculative system, but also find a way around doing a nation-by nation vendor selection tour.

Solution: We gathered ideas from various departments within the company and began to white board basic ideas. id8 crafted a handheld scanner prototype for the client to showcase internationally.

As a Result: Vendors everywhere were able to bid on and build to a fully functional digital prototype, one powered by a global consensus. Quickly, users conveyed crucial feedback to our client.
