Message Center Portlet
This feature simulates a portal environment when real-time messaging and alerts would be typical user content. At a glance, one can see the number of alerts and messages. One can select an alert to view more information and make a decision. One can mark them unread or read. The message feature allows a high level summary of the message as well as the ability to create a new message.
